Air India Starts Daily Delhi-Vancouver Non-Stop Flights

Air India is one of India’s most popular airlines and it is the only carrier that offers non-stop flights from Delhi to Vancouver. Previously, the airline ran three non-stop flights per week along this route. However, due to increased demand and a boost of travelers post COVID, the airline has decided to increase the frequency of flights along this route.
On the 7th of August, Air India announced that it will operate daily flights from New Delhi to Vancouver from the 31st of August. The four more flights on this route are a direct response to demands from the customers. The airline also intends to add 14 more flights to different destinations in Canada.
Air India Delhi-Vancouver Flight Schedule
According to the information provided on the carrier’s official website, Air India will be flying the Boeing 777-300 ER on this route. This is the same airplane that the airline uses three times a week currently. Air India will run Flight No. AI 185 from Delhi to Vancouver, which will depart at 05.15 and arrive at 07.15 every day. AI 186 will fly out from Vancouver at 10.15 and arrive in New Delhi at 13.15(+1) every day. This flight can carry 342 souls on board.

Boeing 777-300 ER on this route has four first-class seats, 35 business class seats, and 303 economy class seats available. The widebody aircraft is well-suited for long-haul non-stop flights. It can handle the 15-hour trip easily and passengers can travel in absolute comfort.
This is another step made by the airline to restore its fleet and international travel activities post the COVID-19 pandemic. Air India plans to introduce new routes and flights between India and the US as well.
